Change of Certificate Authority for Custom Domain Certificates

Today January 23, 2023, Ory Network changed the Certificate Authority for Custom Domains from Digicert to Google Trust Services.

Impact:

1.  All new Custom Domain certificates will be issued by Google Trust Services effective immediately.

2.  Existing Custom Domains will be migrated to Google Trust Services as the Certificate Authority by the latest January 31 EOB.

Call to Action:
If you have CAA records set up for your domain, please add Google Trust Services to the list of authorized CAs, latest by January 27 EOB. You can find more information on how to change/add your CAA records on this page from Google Trust Services. There should be no other impact on your end.
