Edge Sessions

Ory Network is introducing Edge Session Caching. Enabling this feature in the advanced settings brings down latency to ~30-40ms everywhere in the world for consecutive session checks with (a) eventual consistency and (b) read-your-own-writes guarantees.

And the best part? No API changes or deployments required. Simply turn it on in Ory Console and experience lightning-fast, secure authentication.

The feature is opt-in and disabled by default. We recommend to get acquainted with the feature before rolling out to production!
